Empower Your Abilities is dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals living with disabilities by promoting independence, dignity, and inclusion.  

We believe that every person deserves the opportunity to live life on their own terms — to grow, connect, and thrive within their community.

• Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent)
• 1–2 years’ experience as a Disability Support Worker 
• NDIS Worker Screening & Working With Children Check
• National Police Check 
• Current First Aid & CPR 
• Legal right to work in Australia (citizen or permanent resident) 
• Driver’s license & own car with Full Comprehensive Insurance

• Support participants in achieving their NDIS goals
• Provide personal care and daily living assistance (meal prep, cooking, shopping, cleaning)
• Accompany participants to therapy sessions and community activities
• Follow and implement therapists’ plans
• Assist with household duties and promote independent living
• Maintain accurate case notes and reports
• Transport participants safely to appointments and outings

Day Shifts:

• Tuesday: 9:15 AM – 1:15 PM
• Wednesday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM / 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM / 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM 
• Friday: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM 
• Saturday: 10:00 AM – 3:30 PM 
• Sunday: 10:00 AM – 3:30 PM 
• Reserve Shift: 5:00 PM – 12:00 AM
  Weekend shifts (Saturday & Sunday) are paid at higher rates 

Sleepover Shifts:

• Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM
